After School and Evening Performances

Magic Carpet Theatre are delighted to visit schools to present performances out of school hours. It’s a great way of the school “family” – pupils, older and younger siblings, parents and staff enjoying a theatre experience together. These are often organized directly by the school or through friends and PTA groups. We supply posters, handbills and publicity information to assist in promoting these presentations.

Magic Carpet in Senior Schools

Children's Theatre Workshop

Aimed at Performing Arts Students who are creating a piece of work to take to Primary Schools. During the day workshop we present a children's theatre production to pupils from the Senior School's feeder primary schools. The senior students advertise, crew and host the event.

Work ExperienceThere's a lecture demonstration on children's theatre presentation and it’s aimed at helping the students to create their own children’s theatre production.

Aidience reactionsCircus Skills

Our full participation circus skills workshops are very suitable for senior school students. We have presented workshops for schools who have wanted a session - as part of a project on popular culture, an ice-breaker for new Year 7s, an event in an Arts week, input into a performing arts course or an end of term fun day.

Work Experience

Work ExperienceWith The Humber Business Link Organisation (Humber EBLO) we have offered Work Experience placements to many students, most recently Jack from Andrew Marvell Business and Enterprise College who spent two weeks touring with us assisting in schools and theatres, helping with the get ins and set ups and lighting and sound.

Workshops for Schools

Don't forget we run excellent Workshops. Our circus skills workshop, suitable for all ages - Circus AVAGO - You are the stars! Is available all year.
